What is Vitamin Deficiency that Causes a Hair Loss?

The hair loss. What can make it happen? Hair loss can be attributed to many factors, including stress, operational delivery, and subsequent hormonal changes, disease and pollution, as well vitamin deficiencies. As we age, every part of our body, including hair, need more attention. If we eat well and dispose of a daily supplement for good as they are more likely to experience thinning hair and / or hair loss.

Basic Vitamin Requirements

Being iron deficient (anemic) or low on Vitamin B or folic acid can cause your hair to fall out. Protein deficiency can also cause hair loss. Protein is acquired through eating dairy, whey and lean meats. Calcium pantothenate, also known as pantothenic acid or Vitamin B 5, has actually been proven help prevent hair loss. You can get this vitamin by eating potatoes, vegetables, whole grain foods, whole milk and egg yolks. Vitamin B 5 plays a role in maintaining the pigmentation of hair and prevents our hair from turning gray earlier than it should. Ask your physician what type of supplements you should take and how much.

Night Blindness - Description, Causes and Treatment

Night Blindness

Most people develop night blindness to some degree at some point in their lives. How much it affects a person's life depends on the emotional state and age of said person. Some people develop a mild form of night blindness and can do their activities as usual, but they often can't see objects in the dark. Additionally, this condition might prevent certain persons from enjoying viewing the stars.

What Causes Night Blindness?

The causes of this condition are many and are often divided in two categories, treatable and non-treatable.

Treatable:
- Nearsightedness
- Cataracts
- Use and abuse of certain drugs
- Retina problems
- Vitamin A Deficiency

Unfortunately not all causes of night blindness can be treated.

Non-treatable:
- Birth defects (some people can't see well in the dark because of a birth defect).
- Retinitis pigmentosa

How to Cure Night Blindness

Unfortunately there doesn't exist a direct cure for night blindness. If you want to see better at night, you should visit a doctor, discover the cause of your night blindness, and find a solution.

There are some treatments available online for curing this condition, but I don't recommend any of them. What I do recommend is having a good diet full of fruits, vegetables and water. You can also do what the Romans did. Many Romans used to gase at the moon for 10-15 minutes every night in order to improve their night vision. This will help your night vision improve gradually. It's also an excellent way to relax after a long day.

Risks of Night Blindness

The main risk associated with this condition is having an accident at night. People who drive during the night and suffer from this condition can put many lives in jeopardy. Avoid any dangerous activities at night if you suffer from night blindness.

Although night blindness is not a sign of a serious medical condition, if you

Megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 or folate deficiency

Megaloblastic anemia

Megaloblastic anemia (or megaloblastic anaemia) is an anemia (of macrocytic classification) that results from inhibition of DNA synthesis in red blood cell production.[1] When DNA synthesis is impaired, the cell cycle cannot progress from the G2 growth stage to the mitosis (M) stage. This leads to continuing cell growth without division, which presents as macrocytosis.
The defect in red cell DNA synthesis is most often due to hypovitaminosis, specifically a deficiency of vitamin B12 and/or folic acid. Vitamin B12 deficiency alone will not cause the syndrome in the presence of sufficient folate, for the mechanism is loss of B12 dependent folate recycling, followed by folate-deficiency loss of nucleic acid synthesis (specifically thymine), leading to defects in DNA synthesis. Folic acid supplementation in the absence of vitamin B12 prevents this type of anemia (although other vitamin B12-specific pathologies continue).
Megaloblastic anemia not due to hypovitaminosis may be caused by antimetabolites that poison DNA production directly, such as some chemotherapeutic or antimicrobial agents (for example azathioprine or trimethoprim).
The pathological state of megaloblastosis is characterized by many large immature and dysfunctional red blood cells (megaloblasts) in the bone marrow[2] and also by hypersegmented neutrophils (those exhibiting five or more nuclear lobes ("segments"), with up to four lobes being normal). These hypersegmented neutrophils are found in the "peripheral blood" (i.e., a diagnostic smear of a blood-sample taken from the circulation).

Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms

Vitamin D is the vitamin that the skin produces when it is exposed to ultraviolet rays from the sun. Vitamin D actually functions as a steroid hormone that can influence gene expression in human cells. I have written quite a few posts about Vitamin D before, here I will go in to more detail on Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms.

I would like to divide Vitamin D deficiency symptoms into two categories: short-term symptoms and long-term symptoms. Short term symptoms would be something that you might experience right now, while long term symptoms would be something you might not experience until in old age.
